What will you do?

• Lead procurement activities for BESS projects, specifically auxiliary power equipment and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems.
• Manage RFQs and RFPs, coordinating closely with OEMs, integrators, and internal engineering teams.
• Align procurement decisions with electrical and technical specifications provided by engineering and controls teams.
• Support project cost estimates and budgets during both development and execution phases.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and supply chain risks, proactively addressing delays or changes.
• Track market trends in battery technology, pricing, and supplier landscapes.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and project requirements, including expediting and recovery plans when needed.

What are they looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Supply Chain, or Business.
• 2–3 years of experience in procurement or sourcing roles, ideally in technical or industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience sourcing auxiliary power systems or low-voltage electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with UPS systems, DC systems, and backup power architectures.
• Ability to read and work with electrical schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP or procurement tools.
• Preferred: Experience working with vendors such as Socomec, Phoenix Contact, Mean Well, Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, Eaton, APC, or similar.
• Exposure to BESS projects, substations, industrial plants, or critical infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of IEC and UL standards.
